COAL

With the world moving towards technology, the need for fuel is getting high to access, use and develop. For this purpose, we still are dependent largely on our conventional fuel that is COAL. The thing to notice is that India ranks 2nd in the world for Coal Consumption. This does not mean that India have enough coal for several hundred years, but you will be shocked by knowing that India imports 22% of its Coal consumption to achieve its yearly requirements. Now, with all these data we can conclude that full filling the coal requirement is the primary concern of the entire world. But the market works on the principle of demand and supply. And everyone is consuming and to produce coal, it'll need 300 million years. And we all know that the day is not very far away from us by which all coal will be consumed.

Solution or work that we must do?

Coal reserves are not the permanent solution. The only solution is the replacement of non-renewable fuels by renewable fuels. We all know examples of renewable resources which are solar energy, wind energy, hydraulic energy, etc. But we need to implement the usage of these renewable fuels on a faster scale and it should be taken forward as a revolution. Along with the implementation of renewable fuels, we also need to push ourselves to promote climate action all over the world. We all had consumed non-renewable fuels for several decades on a large scale which affected the climate severely and I am sure that each one living in cities has somewhere faced some problem regarding climate.

This is the red alert for all of us.
